Premium Fire cement is finely ground putty-like material which is resistant to high temperatures and will ensure both smoke and gastight joints.

Premium Fire Cement should be used wherever smoke, heat or fumes are escaping from fireplaces, solid fuel and gas cookers, stoves / ranges and boilers. It can also be used to repair fire backs and for jointing internal flue pipes up to temperatures of 1250°C well in excess of any domestic application.

Premium Fire Cement should not be used as a fireplace screed or render no for BBQ's or other outside applications. Please use our Heatproof Screed product instead to provide a protective rendering, resistant to temperatures of 1300°C.

Application - Premium Fire Cement is ready to use straight from the tub. For best results, remove all dirt, dust, rust and make sure that the area is thoroughly clean. Apply with a trowel, knife or hand and work well into the area. Fine joints can be made. If it is practical to do, gently heat to dry the material, gradually raising the heat to full operating temperature over 3-4hours. Apply further cement to any fine cracks which may appear.
