Traditional Tortoise Fireboxes from Flamewave Fires are available in two styles, inset models for building into the fireplace or surround and freestanding models – ideal for inglenooks or as a stand-alone fires. Both styles are produced in 8 standard sizes, to cover most installation requirements. A unique made-to-measure bespoke service is also available should you require something a little different. All Tortoises come complete with a log tray, fuel retainer bar and tool, making them ready to burn wood without the need for any additional elements. An adjustable flue damper is incorporated into the body of the fire. Accessories include multi-fuel grids* – where solid-fuel or a log/solid-fuel mix is to be used, lock-on sparkguards, gas conversion kits* – natural or LPG Gas, gather hoods - where a direct connection to flue pipe/liner is required and a selection of frame finishes – stainless steel, brass or copper. All Flamewave Tortoise Wood & Multifuel Fires have a conditional lifetime warranty available on them.
