All Wiking Miro models have a large stove glass set into a solid cast-iron door. The slightly angled rear section of the stove adds to the athestics and makes installation into a corner much easier. All Miro models are convection stoves, meaning they quickly heat the air and provide an optimal distribution of heat in the room. Inside a Miro is a cast-iron base for longevity and durability, while on the outside you will find a solid cast-iron door that fits well with the other high quality materials used. More-over the entire Miro range has been approved by both HETAS and DEFRA, meaning that not only have all the credentials been confirmed and approved, but they can safely burn wood inside a smoke control area.
Perhaps the most important function of the Wiking Miro range is the Wiking Automatic automatic primary air control system. This system has many advantages, becuase the stove can regulate the air supply itself, it increase your comfort by burning at the right temperature more often. It also facilitates the lighting of the stove itself, by ensuring that maximal air absorption in a cold stove. Tests have shown that a Wiking Miro stove with the Automatic air control system compared to one without can save you as much as 40% in firewood whilist still delivering the same amount of heat. Not only is that great for the enviornment as you are burning 40% less fuel, but it is also great news for your wallet saving you money with every burn.
The Miro Tall has a storage compartment under the main firebox, which can be used for storing wood, accessories or firelighting materials. It also has an additional high top module that elevates the propotions of the stove making more suitable for taller rooms. Further to this the Miro Tall can have optional heat storage stones placed inside the high top module that absorb the heat and slowly release the heat back into the room over time, giving you even more warmth from your stove. The Miro Tall is also available with solid steel sides which is ideal if you are placing the stove into a corner, or with side glass windows which allows you to enjoy the dancing flame picture from more places in your room. You can also have a Miro tall with a soapstone tiled cover on the sides and the top which again absorbs the heat produced from the fire and slowly releases it back into the room.
